Frequently Asked Questions about AIST

AISVN Together (AIST) is a social enterprise founded in 2025 by a group of AISVN parents with their own capital. No profit is distributed. Purpose: give parents a lawful focal point to deal with State agencies and other parties, and a plan to consider instead of just waiting.

No. AIST charges no fees and asks parents for no donations. Speaking up, receiving updates, asking questions or signing an authorisation all cost nothing. Running costs are covered by the founders.

No. The Parents' Common Voice programme is open to every parent with no need to agree with AIST's proposal or authorise AIST. Authorisation is a private choice; anyone who has authorised AIST may withdraw at any time without losing any right.

No. AIST asks no one to write off, reduce, defer or swap any debt. AIST's proposal is only an option to consider; a family that wants it signs a separate contract with independent counsel under the law. Anyone who does not sign keeps their debt and every right.

No. AIST does not represent, act for or decide on behalf of the owner. AIST talks to all parties, including the owner, to obtain information and put forward parents' demands, and reports back regularly. Parents, including those who authorised AIST, keep every right to complain, report or sue any party.

The opposite. AIST's first request to the authorities is to inventory, seal and supervise the school's assets and records in the presence of State agencies and parent representatives.

No promise of refunds, of reopening the school, or of an investor. Only: publish the concrete requests, update every two weeks even when nothing moves, and say so plainly if the proposal is no longer viable.

Educational activities were suspended in June 2024 and the school was dissolved by Decision 3693/QĐ-UBND of 31 December 2025. Parents have received no official information on how assets, records and obligations are being handled after the dissolution – hence the Common Voice programme's request for clarity and supervision.

Under bankruptcy law, secured creditors, State obligations and employees rank first; parents are unsecured creditors. Exact figures for debt and assets must come from an official inventory – AIST does not publish its own numbers.

The Common Voice is common ground: asking the State to meet, clarify and supervise, useful whatever path follows. AIST's proposal is a separate option for the parties to consider, applying only to those who voluntarily sign. Neither is a condition of the other.

Only two AIST data administrators. The website publishes totals only. Names go to authorities only when the person allows it. Nothing is shared with any third party, including the owner.

Yes. Before each closing, an independent parent (not on AIST's board) is invited to reconcile totals and per-option counts against anonymised source data. The date is shown on the page.

Yes. Anonymous aggregate figures are shared with any group that asks, and any group may co-sign the request. Write to info@aist.org.vn.

Parents remain exactly where they are legally, with every right under the law, and keep the Common Voice figures for any later procedure. Nobody loses anything because AIST made a proposal.
