AIST does not ask parents for financial contributions. Running costs are covered by the founders. What AIST needs is legal, financial, educational and communications experience from people willing to help.

Rules for accepting support
- No fees and no fundraising from AISVN parents.
- Organisations or individuals outside the parent community wishing to fund common costs (lawyers, audit, information infrastructure): accepted only without conditions affecting independence, and disclosed in activity reports.
- No support accepted from any party in dispute with parents.
- Contributors are recognised on this page or kept anonymous, as they prefer.
